Vasilikos is located on the south east part of the island. It is one of the most well known tourist resorts of Zakynthos as it has some of the most beautiful beaches on the island like Agios Nikolaos, Gerakas, Daphne, etc. It is also renowned for the National Marine Park that protects the endangered turtles Caretta Caretta who choose Zakynthos to lay their eggs.

Agios Nikolaos beach is well-organised with a beach bar, restaurant, volleyball courts, sun loungers, umbrellas and water sports and offers clear blue waters and a sandy beach which is safe for children to play.

Even though Vasilikos is a popular tourist resort, it remains a large and beautiful traditional village that expands between olive groves and is spotted with local tavernas serving Zakynthian delicacies, seaside bars, mini markets and water sports in order to satisfy all guest needs.
