Arriving at the port of Lipari, take the road that runs around the perimeter of Lipari and after about 9 km you come to the quarries of pumice and immediately after the beautiful beach of Acquacalda and its typical village.

Getting around
Acquacalda is about 4 km from the city center of Canneto (where there are supermarkets and shops) and about 9 km from the main center of Lipari. To move around the island you can use public transportation that offer a bus service which they return to Lipari and Canneto throughout the day (in August the last one is around ten o'clock at night). You can also hire vehicles of all types (motorcycles, cars, scooters, quads, etc.) from several agencies near the port of Lipari or catch one of the many taxis offering rides at all hours and in different ways (with tour guide at example).
