From Milan by car or by train, about 60 miles. From Milan Central station, take train Lecco-Sondrio.
From Lecco, about 16 miles-always train or car.
From the Swiss border to reach the border of Como-Chiasso and drive to Lecco, or frontier of Gandria-Porlezza then by Ferry until Varenna for Kew. (This route is more scenic and runs along the old road to Colico Queen)
