If you are travelling from the UK, from March through to October, flights operate from London Stanstead to Lamezia with Ryanair. These operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays and are direct to Lamezia Airport. The flight is just under 3hrs duration.

There are also all year round direct and indirect flights using a variety of airlines (BA, Easyjet and Ryanair) via Naples. If you fly to Naples, you can continue your journey to Calabria by either train or car.

The cheapest direct train to Lamezia takes 3hrs. Alternatively you can also book the Eurostar which although more expensive takes just 2hrs. For timetables and to pre book seats (highly recommended during peak season), please visit the Italian train network website.

Once in Lamezia you can either continue to Pizzo Vibo train station (5 mins walk from apartment), or you can hire a car from directly opposite the train station from one of two companies - Maggiore or Europcar. It is highly recommended however to pre book this to ensure availability.

Alternatively you can drive from Naples to Pizzo. This will take approximately 4-5 hours. The journey is extremely easy - just following the A3 all the way from Naples down to Pizzo. Although there are many car rental companies at Naples airport, it is highly recommended to pre book this service for better deals.
