Pinwatta Railway station, which is on the Southern Railway line with easy train access to Sri Lanka's most beautiful beaches down south. Other parts of the Island is accessed through the Island's main Railway Station at Colombo Fort, which is only about 45mins by train from Pinwatta. Also,The Expo Rail (Luxury Train Service ) is available from Colombo Fort to Kandy, Trincomalee, Vavuniya and Badulla; tickets can be booked through Internet.
