Getting around
Once in the village there is usually no need for a car. There are beautiful walks from the door, wonderful sea views from the property and plenty to do. The local village beach is just below the property. There is a butchers in the village and also a small supermarket. There is an excellent village pub (The Plume of Feathers) in the centre of the village and also a very nice pub in Gerrans up the hill. It is sometimes wise to book at the Plume if planning an evening meal but there is no need for this at the Standard. It is a short drive (7miles) to St Austell and there are many wonderful places to visit nearby. Further details are in the property.
