Getting around
By car is the best option. However the NYMR steam train is a definite must if you prefer a scenic traditional mode of transport. Running through Goathland Station, this line will take you to Pickering or Whitby (timetable dependent) if you desire a car free day. Taxis or minibuses from Whitby if you do not wish to drive.
