How to get there
Plane to the nearest airport Comiso (35 minute drive) or Catania (1.5 hrs drive) takes around 3.5 hours from Stanstead or London airports.
Then hire a car from one of the 5 or so available (we use Hertz who have a deal with Ryanair).
Then simply stroll around 10 minutes to the heart of the lovely Modica Basa's bars, cafe's and restaurants - you may even find something on at the Theatre (e.g. opera).

Getting around
If you have hired a car it's easy to get out of town (the road to Frigintini) but other than that the town is small enough to enjoy strolling.
