How to get there
Proceed through Cornwall on the A30 to the Chiverton RoundaboutTake the A390 turning off the roundabout, heading to Truro. Take the first turning right, signpost Chacewater. Proceed to the end of the road and turn left at the staggered crossroads, heading to Threemilestone.Pass Chacewater Garden Centre on your left and Morgans's Fitness Centre on your right. Approximately 200 yards further, look out for a red phone box on your right. Turn right immediately before the phone box. This is a private lane, tarmaced, but there is no road sign for it.Proceed down the lane, ignoring all tracks leading off, under the railway bridge, to the end, just under ½ mile. Polgwedhen Farm is the dead end – the lane becomes our drive and takes you right up to the house.

Getting around
There is a bus route at the top of the lane, and also a park and ride service approximately 1.5 miles away, which goes into Truro, our county town, which is approximately 4 miles away. Truro railway station is on the main London Paddington - Penzance line. there is a branch line at Truro to Falmouth. As this is a rural area, the best way to see all the lovely hidden places is by car. If you are not bringing your own car, there is a good choice of car hire companies.
