Karavados is only a 25 min drive from the capital Argostoli. There are some local shops where you can buy bread, milk and other basics the supermarket is about a 5 minute drive. There are two small beaches with umbrellas and sun beds that can be hired for a few Euros + a taverna selling cold drinks, ice cream and snacks for lunch and the catch-of-the-day, BBQ to order by night.There are some great walks around the villa with the most unusual rock formations on the opposite side to the beach, great for rock-pooling or just taking a stroll. If walking is not your thing, lie back under the towering visual of Mount Enos, equally spectacular by day or night
