How to get there
Travelling from the South/East

Leave the M6 at junction 36, then at roundabout take the exit onto the A590 (signposted Kendal, Barrow). The A590 becomes the A591 - Continue onto the A591 (signposted Windermere) At roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A591 (signposted Windermere) Continue on the A591 through Stavely and Ings before entering Windermere.At mini-roundabout go straight across (signposted Ambleside) Follow A591 for a couple of miles. White Cross Bay is on the left.
Travelling from the North

Leave the M6 at junction 40 take the 4th exit onto the A66 (signposted Keswick)Continue on the A66 to Threlkeld - turn left onto the B5322 (signposted St John's in the Vale) At the junction with the A591 turn left (signposted Ambleside) continue on the A591 through Ambleside towards Windermere and after 2 miles White Cross Bay is on the right
