The apartment is located 65Km from the closest airport Pescara which is served by Ryanair and from where you could hire a car (Hertz gives special discounts to Ryanair customers).
From Pescara you could choose to drive through the motorway (A14) and it takes about 1 hour. Follow the sign towards Bari and the exit is ''Val di Sangro'' and follow the signs to Casoli and then Gessopalena, the apartment is right in the centre of the village; otherwise you could choose a shorter way (about 45 minutes) going through a town called Guardiagrele which is the scenic route but on a more windy road.
It is about 300Km from Rome (Ciampino or Fiumicino) and it takes about 3 hours to reach Gessopalena by motorway. If you prefer you could fly to Naples which is closer than Rome (about 250Km).
