We are 25 miles south of Munising/Pictured Rocks, so the drive into town is scenic along Federal Forest Highway 13. It takes approx 30 minutes to drive in, depending on road conditions (during winter). Most of the drive is all highway, except the last 1.5 miles to the cottage. Our areas here are remote, so if you try to figure out distance on map quest, it sometimes shows further away from Munising than it actually is.
