How to get there
The usual way to Holy Island is by car: turn off the A1 at the Beal Junction and follow the road to the end!
There are many taxi companies available to take you from Berwick train station.
There is a bus service, but not at all frequent, around 2 or 3 times a week during the season and everyday during the summer holidays. This is available from Berwick train station or all the way from Newcastle.REGIONAL BUS (Routes 505/515): This regional service operates between Newcastle-upon-Tyne and Berwick-upon-Tweed. Buses will stop, on request, at Beal. Catch the 477 from here to the Island.
