There are several ways to get to the villa and it is very well served by budget airlines.

The closest airport is Perpignan which is around 40 minutes from the villa. This is serviced by Ryanair and Flybe
Secondly is Girona in Spain which is served by many airlines and about an hour and a half from the villa. This is very easy as there is a direct motorway from Girona to France and then it is only about 20minutes from the junction on the French side. I prefer this option as car hire is a little cheaper in Spain and many more airlines tend to fly to Girona so the flights tend tpo be a little cheaper

It is also possible to fly to Barcelona which is about 2 an half hours from the villa. Again quite easy as there is a direct motorway although Barcelona airport if the other side of Barcelona so you have to go around the city which can get a bit congested.

Ryanair also goes to the following airports which are also relatively close to the villa; Carcassonne, Narbonne, Beziers. All of these are possible and between 2-3 hours from the villa.

Montpelier is also possible at around 3 hours from the viola and this is serviced by EasyJet. In fact EasyJet also flies to Toulouse from Gtawick which is about 2.5 hours from the villa.

On the subject of driving, it is possible but it is a long drive from the UK and should be broken with an overnight stay somewhere – perhaps Paris. I have done it in a day but it was a long day and only for the hardy. Make sure you get your journey sorted out before to avoid the tolled routes and personally I prefer the route to Paris and then down the E11 to Montpellier and then to Perpignan.
