Getting around
The best and easiest way to explore the island is by car. Car rental in Fuerteventura is much cheaper than other holiday destinations. The roads in Fuerteventura are a pleasure to drive on, there's not much traffic at all and the road surfaces are pristine. You can drive from north to south in just over one hour and from east to west in 40 mins, without any traffic jams in sight. There's so much to explore too, from hidden beaches to quaint, traditional villages. It's an absolute delight!
