Leaving the Cancun Airport, follow the signs to Hwy #307, Playa Del Carmen and Tulum. Merge onto the highway and it's a straight shot from here to Akumal.

Once you're headed south on the highway stay on the overpass bridges for Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, and Puerto Aventuras. Continue driving south, until you see the sign for Akumal, about 6 Km before the pedestrian crossing bridge, quickly followed by Akumal's iconic mural bridge.

Stay in the right lane on the highway and slow down as you exit right into Akumal Pueblo. Make the first U-turn in the town which will lead you to the overpass bridge.Continue on this road through the Akumal Arch. Stay on this beach road into North Akumal, where the boom gate is. After 2 km you will see La Buena Vida Restaurant on your right. Del Sol Properties is next with its brightly colored buildings. Del Sol Norte (where the 3 bedroom condos are located) is a couple of properties further down the road. Park anywhere.

Stay right on the highway and slow down as you exit right towards Akumal Pueblo. You will be entering the town so keep your speed low. On the first block into Akumal pueblo, make your first U-turn leading to the overpass bridge. Continue on this road through the Akumal archway bearing right towards North Akumal. After 2 km you'll see La Buena Vida Restaurant. Del Sol, with its brightly colored buildings, is the first hotel/condo complex past the restaurant. Del Sol Norte is a couple of properties further north on the beach road.

Parking is free at Del Sol.
