How to get there
The house is approximately 2.5 hours from Washington, DC, 1.5 hours from Richmond and 1 hour from Williamsburg. The downtown shops and restaurants of Irvington and the Tides Inn are walk-able from the house (half a mile or less.) A car is necessary for getting around between towns, although there is a trolley that runs between the towns of Irvington, Kilmarnock and White Stone in the summer months.
