How to get there
If you take la Route de la Traversée: At the end of the road turn right towards Pointe-Noire. 3.5 km after leaving the village of Pointe-Noire you will find along the road on the left side the green barriers of the Elementary School of Baillargent. The Park is just after, on the left. You can take the small entrance just before the panel Le Parc aux Orchidées.
From Deshaies, take the direction of Pointe-Noire. When arriving close to Pointe-Noire you will cross the fishing port of Fond Baillargent. Then the road goes toward the mountain. After a few bends you will see the sign for the entrance of Le Parc aux Orchidées on your right just after a fairly sharp turn to the left. You can take the small entrance just before the panel.

Getting around
You may want to take the bus from Pointe à Pitre to Pointe Noire and then the Navette (small bus) from Pointe Noire to Le Parc aux Orchidées. It is long and not easy to find. I strongly advise to rent a car. This is the only way to go to the different beaches, climb the volcano, etc.
