By train

Train connections from Austria and Germany to Bad Schandau (for example Berlin – Bad Schandau), from Bad Schandau only 2 stops to S-Bahn station: Schmilka-Hirschmühle. From the station (with the Elbstrom to the passage under the railroad tracks, left) it is still about 1400 m walk to the hotel.

By car

Central location between Dresden and Prague (50 min. To 1,5 hrs.) Via the A17, exit Pirna or Decin, continue to Elbbrücke to Bad Schandau. Turn right here on Friedrich-Gottlob-Keller-Straße. Stay in Reinhardsdorf-Schöna on main road. Then turn left to Hirschgrund. Drive about 1, 3 km, then turn right onto a private driveway.

By bicycle

It is not far to the Elbe River, because there is the popular Elberadweg.

On foot

The house is only a few meters away from the hiking trail Malerweg.
