The Aeolian islands are reachable all year round. The most accessible airports are in Naples, Catania, Reggio Calabria and Palermo. For those who prefer the train, the correct train station is Milazzo, connected to the harbour by buses and taxis. By sea with hydrofoils from the harbours of Naples, Messina, Palermo, Milazzo and Reggio Calabria; cruise liners in departure from Milazzo (several times a day) and from Naples (several times a week).
