Driving Directions-

Here are the driving directions from Coos Bay. Be sure to go to the southern end of Coos Bay and then go east up Coos River(Millicoma) following the signs to Eastside then Allegany and Golden and Silver Falls State Park. The home is one mile before the falls( 22 miles from town). You will follow Coos River upstream past various tributaries all the way to the house. After about 2 miles from town you will cross a green bridge and from there on the river will be on you right while driving out to the lodge. About 1 mile past Allegany(10 miles from Coos Bay) and just past Marlow Creek Rd the road comes to a weird 4 way intersection, stay to the left but don't go up the hill on Kruse Rd immediately following the intersection. You will know you are on the right road when in less than a mile the river is in view on your right again. Just after Nesika Park the road turns into gravel and the house is 3 miles further. There is no cell phone service up there but the Allegany Post Office has wifi with the password posted on the door. Caution- all other ways (Ash Valley/Loon Lake) require logging roads and good map skills. Don't let your GPS get you lost, follow the signs.
