If you arrive from the north:
About 20Km south of Cecina exit the new Aurelia (the four-lane highway) at Donoratico. At the roundabout follow the sign to Donoratico, go over the highway and turn right (South). Remain on that road, cross Donoratico Village and after about 2Km you will find a road to your right that goes over the highway again.
Follow that road and the signs to “Hotel CANADO” (Cantiere Navale Donoratico). Pass the bridge over the railroad and new Aurelia.
Right after the bridge keep the right and follow the road for about 2km. After about 200 meters the road becomes a dirt road... don't worry, it means that you are on the right track.
After about 1 km you will see the Canado hotel parking to your left. If the access is blocked by a striped bar, ring at the Hotel and say that you are going to Villa Emilia, they will open the bar.
The road enters into the woods and finally, after several turns, arrives at the entrance of the villa. The entrance is a gate to your right, usually there are several cars parked right behind the gate; park your car and proceed to the Villa, which is about 100 meters away. If you made arrangements you will find a person waiting for you there. You can ring the apartment “OLEANDRI” or call your contact using your cell phone.
If you arrive from the south: exit the new Aurelia at San Vincenzo North, then take the old Aurelia (direction north), after about 5 km you will see a road on your left that goes over the railroad, then proceed from point number 2 above.
