How to get there
Rent a four wheel drive, truck or SUV after your flight to Helena, Great Falls, (or sometimes Calgary is cheaper!) but any sports car will ride too low on all our "typical Montana road" -- drive slowly on the gravel, you only have a mile and a half on a road that goes back 30 miles with people that live there full time. Every fishing spot and visitor site will have this gravel too.
Pause on the road for the vistas, it is amazing and why we are the Big Sky State!

You will need a car for everything, this is Montana! the locals say: "what you want recycling? you are lucky we pick up the trash" and "you want asphalt? not in your lifetime!"
