How to get there
Flights
Turkey is currently seeing a large boom in its tourism industry and many flight companies are offering new low cost flights from various airports in the UK to International Bodrum Airport.
Once at Bodrum Airport there are two ways of getting to the Horizon Sky Beach resort, depending on when your flight arrives.
By Boat
The nicest way to arrive at Horizon Sky is via the free resort boat. This involves getting a taxi from the airport to Gulluk marina which should take around 10 mins and costs 100tl (around £5).
Once you have boarded the boat from the quayside, you will be taken across the bay to the resort jetty where you will be greeted and escorted to the apartment.
By Road
If your flight arrives outside of the boat timetable hours or you would simply like to be taken straight from the airport to the resort without any waiting around then road transfers take approx 40 mins.

Getting around
You can catch the resort boat across to Gulluk for restaurants, bars and shops. Also you can catch buses all over the Bodrum peninsular from here. You can also order a local taxi to take you around the immediate area of Iasos where you will find the local ruins dating back to 5000BC which is well worth a visit. Make sure you pop into JR’s for a beer or fresh fish.
