The two nearest airports are North Cyprus Ercan (also called Leftkosa/ Nicosia) International Airport, about 40 mins drive away and Larnaca International Airport in South Cyprus about 90 to 120 mins drive away. Some car hire companies will allow cars from South Cyprus to cross the border but the appropriate insurance must be purchased at the border crossing. Car hire in North Cyprus is recommended and most North Cyprus car hire companies will provide a free return taxi service to and from Ercan airport but will charge about £75 return to Larnaca. North Cyprus Ercan International Airport: all flights are via Istanbul/ Izmir in Turkey. Daily flights available from Stanstead and Heathrow with Turkish Airlines, Atlas Jet and Pegasus. North Cyprus travel companys’ also offer flights to North Cyprus.

Alternatively, you can visit North Cyprus via a flight to South Cyprus Larnaca International airport. The following airlines have daily flights to South Cyprus (Larnaca):
