The nearest train station is Leuchars which is between St Andrews and Dundee and is approximately 30 minutes from Crail. Buses run regularly from Leuchars to St Andrews and then from St Andrews to Crail. The nearest international airport is Edinburgh, however, Dundee also has a small airport with flights to London, Birmingham, Belfast and Jersey.

Getting around
Crail is situated on the A917 which runs from Leven to St Andrews. Buses run every hour to both the East Neuk villages and on to Leven and to St Andrews, from where buses run to other destinations in Fife, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The nearest train station is in Leuchars, about 15 minutes drive from St Andrews and from there trains run up the East Coast to Aberdeen, South to Edinburgh and down the East Coast line into England.
