Public Transport and Communications:

In the apartment street itself, C. Provençals, you have an underground (Metro) stop only 3 crossings away. Station name "Selva de Mar" line 4 (yellow).

In example to go to the cathedral from the apartment by underground it takes only 10-12-15 minutes ( 7 stations: Selva de Mar- Jaume I). The public transport system in Barcelona is at the highest level in Europe.

You can buy a “T-10” transport card for less than 10 euros valid for 10 travels for both bus or underground (not valid for Airport "airbus" shuffle to city) at any underground station. There are automatic machines that sell them in all stations. Otherwise a single ticket's cost is 2€ so it's really worth butying the card, that you can share (it's not individual).

Also bus stops only 50m away, and the access by car to “ronda litoral” which is the internal “motorway” that goes underground in the city center is only 100m distance.

Also you have three touristic “hop on – hop off” bus stops between only 50-100m away!

For transport from the airport you have several options:

1-Taxi:

My advice is taking a taxi which is fast and affordable. Probably around 35-45€ depending on traffic and weekday/weekend. Should not take more than 25 minutes from airport to the apartment without heavy traffic.

I can recommend you a fix price taxi driver who will pick you up and deliver you for 45€. Only condition from his side is he should do both pickup and delivery at airport.

I think this is very reasonable price.

Another option would be using i.e. suntransfers-com which offer an affordable fix-prized service but a bit more expensive.

Both options (the taxi I send you or suntransfers) are vans, so will fit you and your luggage.

Please understand that I take no commission from their side, I offer this option to provide a top service to my guests.

It takes more than the double of time if you use public transport, and you don't save that much so probably if you are several, it's not worth...

2- Shuttle bus and underground:

Take shuttle bus (5€/person, so 20 in total) from the airport to Plaça Catalunya, there walk until "Plaça Urquinaona" (300 meters) buy a T-10 card valid for 10 travels and 10 euros at the underground and take underground Yellow Line direction La Pau until station "Selva de Mar" (so a single travel cost would be 1 additional euro, so 4 in total) maybe 1.5-2hours

3- Train and underground:

Take train (Rodalies) at Terminal T2 to "Sants Estació" (so if you arrive at T1 you have to take the internal airport shuttle bus (free and every 1 5minutes) to T2). Don't know the cost per person but low.

Then, at T2 take the Renfe "Rodalies" trains (at 200 meters).

There are trains every 30 minutes. Arrive at Sants Estació and take underground, find you way to L4 (yellow line) station "Selva de Mar". Maybe 2.5 hours.

4-Underground directly at the airport:

You have underground at both T1 and T2 terminals at the aiport

With underground, cost per person for underground from the airport is higher than a normal underground travel (again around 5 € per person), and will take you more than one hour to arrive.

At the airport take underground L9 – change lines at Torrassa to L1 direction Fondo – again change lines at Urquinaona to L4 direction La Pau – continue until L4 Selva de Mar, which is the apartment stop.

Should you come by cruise, cruise port is really close, 15 min. by taxi, but please let me know so I send you detailed instructions also.

In addition, the apartment has very good car communications, a taxi stop 50 meters from it, and a secure parking space in same building with direct access through the elevator.
