The fastest, easiest way from Bordeaux is to go via .

From bordeaux Airport, join the ROCADE of bordeaux (also named E5, it is a circular motorway around all around Bordeaux) to the left (going counterclockwise). Drive for a couple minutes, you will drive past a CENTRE COMMERCIAL, and over the GARONNE river. A couple of exits after passing over the river, take the exit to E70 (to LIBOURNE, PERIGUEUX) . The E70 becomes A89 just before reaching LIBOURNE. Keep on the A89 to PERIGUEUX, but do not take the exit going to PERIGUEUX. Keep driving on the A89 after you've past the PERIGUEUX exit. A couple of exits later, take exit 16 to LIMOGES / BRIVE / SARLAT / TRELISSAC (D710). D710 takes you to LE BUGUE, where there's a fork. Follow the signs ST CYPRIEN / CASTELS / BEZENAC / BEYNAC / VEZAC.

When you've past ST CYPRIEN, you're less than 10min from home.

When you exit the city center of St Cyprien, turn left to SARLAT (to the right is BERGERAC) . Still on the left, you'll drive past a restaurant called LE BISTROT D'EPICURE. keep on for approx 2 minutes. Pay attention to the right side for the railway crossing (there a guy who sells mushroom shaped wood right in front of the railway crossing). Drive past the railway crossing, still on the right side, drive past the bakery/pastry shop called LUCCO. The street leading to the house is the second tiny street on the left after Lucco. There is a sign for Le Flageolet, Lauboil, La Croix. The road is called Route des Gobes and Le Hibou address is 1244 (which is metres from the main road D703).

Follow the street up to the top of the hill. The way is steep, going through tiny villages. Better go slowly. After you've crossed the villages, you'll reach a flat part on top of the hill where you'll see the gites LA PALOMBIERE. When you reach that point, follow the medieval wall on your right until you reach the gate of our house.

If you enter them in google maps, they'll give you a street view of our gate. From which you could replay that last part of the itinerary going up the hill, which at night time could be a bit tricky.

Depuis Bordeaux, la route la plus rapide passe par Périgueux :

Depuis l'aéroport de bordeaux, rejoignez la ROCADE (qui s'appelle aussi E5) vers la gauche (celle qui circule à l'inverse des aiguilles d'une montre). Apres quelques minutes, vous passez devant un centre commercial, puis au dessus de la Garonne. Apres avoir passé quelques sorties, prenez la sortie E70 direction LIBOURNE / PERIGUEUX. La E70 devient A89 juste avant d'atteindre Libourne. Continuer sur le A89 direction Périgueux, mais ne sortez pas à Périgueux. Continuez de rouler jusqu'à la sortie 16 LIMOGES / BRIVE / SARLAT / TRELISSAC (D710). La D710 vous emmène au BUGUE, ou vous trouverez une fourche. Suivez les panneaux pour ST CYPRIEN / CASTELS / BEZENAC / BEYNAC / VEZAC.

(si vous entrez dans la ville de St Cyprien, prenez la sortie direction Sarlat)

Lorsque vous avez passé ST CYPRIEN, vous êtes à moins de 10 minutes de la maison.

Vous allez passer sur votre gauche un restaurant nommé "le bistrot d'Epicure". Continuez de rouler environ 2 minutes; Vous remarquerez un passage à niveau de voie ferrée sur votre droite, ainsi qu'une cabane ou on vend des grands champignons en bois sculpté, puis une patisserie nommée LUCCO.

La rue à prendre pour monter à la maison est le second chemin qui part perpendiculairement à gauche apres LUCCO.

A l'entrée du chemin, il y a des panneaux : cedez le passage, interdit aux camions, et le lieu dit "LE FLAGEOLET". Il n'y a pas de lampadaires.

Montez la colline, et traversez le petit hameau. lorsque le chemin devient moins pentu, vous passerez devant les gites "La palombière". Sur votre droite, vous remarquerez un mur médiéval en pierre : c'est la mure de la maison ! Longez le mur jusqu'à trouver le portail.
