Heading north from Las Palmas airport take the GC-1 towards Las Palmas; you will be on this motorway for approx 15-20 minutes before taking the left fork onto the GC-3 driving up into the mountains towards Autovia Jinamar - Tamaraceite (do not drive to city centre).
