How to get there
Use Satellite Navigation to find Slab Lane which can be accessed from either end.
If you use What3Words, “standards.magnets.snow” is our entrance from Slab Lane.
From Woodfalls
Once in Slab Lane (opposite Village Post Office) follow the road, it will start to go
downhill after about ½ mile, continue down the hill past a farm entrance on the left,
shortly after this the lane will become steeper and bend to the right you will see two
cottages on the left and two redbrick cottages on the right – Wich Hazel is opposite
these cottages on the left-hand side. House sign is on the downhill 5 bar gate
From Downton
As you start to leave the village and climb towards Woodfalls there is a pinch point
which is controlled by traffic lights. In the middle of the pinch point turn right into
the bottom of Slab lane*. This is quite a narrow country lane. After about ¾ of a
mile the lane splits, bear right and Wich Hazel is the third property on the right.
*Should you miss the right turn in the middle of the pinch point, don’t worry
continue up the hill into the village of Woodfalls and find the Post Office now on
your left and turn right into Slab Lane (Follow the remaining directions in first
paragraph).
