How to get there
Aruba is a small island but it is always a good idea to rent a car or a jeep. A jeep is good if you will be doing off road exploration or you can mix it up by getting a car for 6 days and a jeep for one. A lot of car rentals will do this for you. I also negotiate good rates from my neighbor who owns a car rental service for my guest if requested.
The airport is only about 20 to 30 minutes drive to the villa. Most parking in Aruba is free or very inexpensive. A lot of establishment pays for your parking if you present to them your parking ticket. Gas is one grade, premium but a full tank of gas can last a week. Guest who do not wish to rent a car at the airport I can arrange for a rental to be delivered for them on arrival to the villa.

Getting around
It is easy as the island is so small. Car rental or jeep is best but you can rent motor cycles, bicycles taxi, local buses or walk. Local buses do not come to the villa but along the hotel strip which is 30 minutes walk from the villa. These buses runs very frequently and are air conditioned.
