How to get there
The nearest airport is Malaga (55 mins), the second nearest is Granada (70 mins) and the third is Almeria (100mins). From Malaga airport follow the signs for A7 Motril and or Almeria. Continue until you get to the La Herradura junction ( approx. 45 mins). Turn right at the slip way roundabout and left at the coast road roundabout N340 ( signs for La Herradura & Almunecar). After two kilometres go past La Herradura and stay on the N340 for another 6 kilometres and you will see a small Cotobro sign…ignore this one. Follow the road and after 300m you will take a sharp right hand bend and pass over a bridge and onto a filter lane. You will see the next signpost for Cotobro ..take this one. Follow the road around and the second turning you will see a chequered flag on the roof of a small hostal. This is the top of Calle Bajada del Mar. Take this winding road. The road will bend right after 200m, then right again after 70m and then almost immediately follow the road down to the left. There will be a relatively new development on your right. After 150m the road bends left and then after 30m a sharp hairpin bend to the right. You will see Casa Felicidad (no.16) 100m down the road on your left.

Getting around
The villa is just 10 minutes from the A7 motorway providing easy links to neighbouring towns of Nerja and Salobrena and the larger cities of Granada, Malaga, Seville, Cordoba and Almeria. For local visiting there is a bus from the beach below just 300 metres away. You can walk from the beach for 7km along the promenade getting access to bars restaurants, shops, old town etc. If you prefer having a car it is easy driving on this side of Malaga and car hire is cheap. A car is not needed, just easier. There are bicycles at the house and taxis are readily available and cost €8 to get into the town which is the min fee. The old town of Almunecar is only 2.5km away or 35 minute walk along the promenade.
