Air Malta has regular connections to many European, North African and Middle East centres. Ryan Air flies to/from London Luton, Edinburgh, Eindhoven, Dublin, Madrid, Marseille, Trapani, Bristol, Pisa, Kaunas, Krakow, Stockholm (Skavsta), Malmö, Seville, Valencia, Venice(Treviso), Wroclaw, Girona, Birmingham, Bari. Easyjet flies to/from Belfast, Newcastle, Rome, Milan Malpensa and London Gatwick.
Renting a car in Malta is a great way to see the country, since it's cheap and having your own car allows you discover many hidden charms. You may hire cars from Europcar, Avis or Sixth since these are listed among the best in the country.
Malta's white taxis charge government approved fares. The fares from the airport ranges from €10 to €30. For cheaper airport transfers, you can call one of the local "Black cab" taxi firms such as Dial a Cab or Ecabs with a high quality of Service. Their rates are normally lower than white taxis but their services must be prebooked.
There is the regular ferry service between Cirkewwa on Malta and Gozo, it goes every 45 minutes. There are also irregular services to Comino.
