How to get there

North from San Francisco:

take Hwy 101 north toward Ukiah

5 miles north of Ukiah, take Hwy 20 east toward Lake County

at 20 miles, take Hwy 29 south toward Lakeport

at 8 miles, take the 11th Street off ramp (Exit 103)

Alternate scenic route from S.F. (Mountainous with slow, curvy roads, but about 15 minutes shorter in time and a beautiful view of Clear Lake and Lake County at the top, but not recommend if towing a boat):

15 miles north of Cloverdale, turn right (east) onto Hwy 175 at Hopland

at 18 miles (at stop light), turn left (north) onto Hwy 29

at 2 miles, take the 11th Street off ramp (Exit 103)

South from Eureka:

take Hwy 101 south toward Ukiah

5 miles south of Willits, take Hwy 20 east, toward Lake County

at 20 miles, take Hwy 29 south toward Lakeport

at about 8 miles, take the 11th Street off ramp (Exit 103)

North from Sacramento or south from Redding on I-5:

at Williams, take Hwy 20 west

at 37 miles, turn left (south) onto Hwy 53 toward Lower Lake

at 7 miles, turn right at stop light onto Hwy 29 toward Lakeport

at 22 miles (now, just west of Lakeport), take the 11th Street off ramp (Exit 103)

Alternate scenic route from I-5 (Possibly 15 minutes longer travel time and curvy highway, but much of it is at lake level with beautiful views):

instead of turning south onto Hwy 53, continue on Hwy 20 to Clear Lake Oaks and around the north side of the lake to Upper Lake (about 22 miles beyond Hwy 53)

one-half mile west of Upper Lake, turn left (south) onto Hwy 29

at 8 miles, take the 11th Street off ramp (Exit 103)
