How to get there
Le Vieux Café is approximately a 3 hour drive from St Malo, 5 hours from Cherbourg or 7 hours from Calais and the Euro Tunnel. The route is mainly on major roads or motorways, and then we are 20 minutes away from Junction 6 on the A83.
Cheap flights with Ryan Air are available to La Rochelle Airport (Approx 50 minutes away), and all major car hire companies are available there. You can also fly in to Nantes Airport which is only 60 minutes away.

Getting around
Our holiday home is set in the pretty village of Lairoux, on a small hill overlooking a beautiful wetland valley below. A car is essential, as the nearest shops and restaurants are a 10 minute drive away. The beaches are only 15km and La Rochelle and Les Sables d'Olonne are both 50 minutes away.
