How to get there
From San Jose, most guests opt to get a domestic flight to Puerto Jimenez, arriving by mid day. If you prefer to drive a rental car, you will probably have to stay overnight somewhere before arriving to Playa Lapa the following day.

Getting around
Walking is the most popular way to get around in the community, as well as to hike into the Corcovado National Park. A car might be more convenient with children or for tours out of Jimenez, but taxi service is available, as well as the daily collectivo.
