Le Pavot is ideally located in the Southern Vendée, West France, being only 3 1/2 hours easy drive from the nearest Cross Channel Ferry Port, St Malo and a 40 minute drive to the bustling fishing town of La Rochelle.

Flying with Ryanair or Flybe is very quick, easy and usually cheap, though prices vary a lot. Ryanair fly daily from Stansted to La Rochelle, Poitiers, and Tours. Also La Rochelle is 50 minute drive to Le Pavot, Poitiers about 2 hours and Tours about 2 1/2 hours. Flybe fly from Southampton, Birmingham and Manchester to La Rochelle. Flights are only a little over an hour and the airports have car hire booths for all the main hire companies. Car hire is fairly cheap but need to remember cost of parking at UK airports when planning.
