Fly-and-drive with a range of budget air companies to: Alicante (hundred and forty km) or Murcia International (Corvera; seventy km). (Easyjet flights to Madrid are also possible but involve a three to four hour drive, perhaps with a night in the capital to start or finish, depending on flight times.)

From Corvera, navigate to the RM-15; Autovia del Noroeste to Cehegin, allowing an hour for the trip. As you come down the long descent from Bullas towards Cehegin, take first exit, signed Cegehin Este; and follow signs for town centre, stopping outside the Mercadona supermarket on the long straight approach road into town, called the Carretera de Murcia. You'll be met on arrival by our contracted Spanish-speaking helper, Glenda. She'll show you to the house (five minutes).
