It is a beautifully scenic drive from Heraklion to Makrygialos and it takes around one and three quarter hours. We have arranged discounted car hire for our guests from a supplier in the village for collection at the airport. There is a good bus service from the airport for arrivals during the day.Sitia airport is even closer taking only 35 minutes to drive though flights to this airport are not as abundant.
