Located only 72 km away from Sofia and just 126 km away from Plovdiv, Borovets ski resort is easily accessible at all times of year. Borovets is the closest Bulgarian ski resort to Sofia airport which makes for a very convenient airport transfer time. Most flights arrive in Sofia but you can also use the airport in Plovdiv. We are happy to arrange Borovets airport transfers or car rental from either location. The Sofia to Borovets transfer time is just 75 minutes and from Plovdiv to Borovets is 90 minutes.
Route to Chamkoria Chalets from Sofia
From bul. Tsarigradsko shose/. , continue onto ul.
Samokovsko shose/. .
After about 13.4km this turns into route 82. Continue on route 82 for about
38.5km.
You are then in Samokov and should take a left ul. Makedoniya/.
/Route 82 over the bridge. At the end of the bridge take the 1st right
onto bul. Iskar/.
/Route 82. Continue straight on this road for about
10.8km.
You will then reach the entrance to Borovets centre. Do not take a right into the
centre of Borovets, but instead continue straight on the road signposted to Plovdiv
and Kostenets. After about 2.4km from the turn into the centre of Borovets you will
see a left turn off the main road onto a smaller road, sign posted “Chamkoria
Chalets”. Take this left turn and continue straight on this road for another 3.8km. You
will then reach a sharp right turn in the road and you should take this right which
leads you directly to the complex.
