How to get there
You can either hire a car at the airport and drive down or take a taxi which is under 1000 Bht. The yellow and red meter taxis are much cheaper.
The journey will take about 1 hour but there can be some hold ups at Phuket town/ Central Mall where an underpass is being built and can cause delays in rush hour.
I will send full directions before your holiday, also written in thai so the Taxi drive can understand too.

Getting around
We can arrange for you to be collected from the airport in either a taxi or minivan and the driver's charges are very reasonable as we use him extensively. He would also be available to take you anywhere you want to go and collect you afterwards during your stay. Alternatively, you can hire a car or motorcycle whilst you are here at a reasonably low cost. Remember to bring your driving licence.
