Kratie town is at around 340 km (5 hours drive) north-west from Phnom Penh. There are several bus companies going to Kratie (around 6$ per trip) or passing by while they are heading to Stung Treng or Rattanakiri. Tickets at the central bus station southwest of the central market and in many traveling agencies. In case that you come with your own vehicle parking in Kratie can be arranged during your stay on the island

Koh Trong Island is about 1 km in front of Kratie in the Mekong. A ferry leaves every 10-15 minutes where the buses are arriving bringing you for 50 cents in 10 Minutes to the other side of the river. From there you arrange with us for getting fetched by horse -cart (4US) or go by foot (30 Minutes) on the path towards the north of the island (the last house you will reach is "Arun Mekong").
