How to get there
Many low cost carriers operate on Crete to one of the airports Chania or Heraklion. You can also reach the island with a connecting flight with a stop in Athens or Thessaloniki. Aegean air, Olympic air and Cyprus airways have several daily regular flights for the connection. You can also take the boat from Athens Pireaus harbour to Chania or Heraklion harbour, several daily services per harbour.

Getting around
There is a free parking spot in front of the villa.The bus stop is located at 180 meters walking distance. In order to reach the beach at "Platanes" village or to reach the town center of Rethymno, you can take the bus lines serving the villages 'Arkadi - Loutra - Mesi - Kirianna*. These buses operate from the morning, early hours, up to about 21:00 hours. The service times changes depending of the seasons. Rent a car with pick-up and drop-off at the airport for the duration of your stay. Except of the high seasons months, renting a car is not more expensive than using public buses and/or taxi to reach the villa at arrival/departure and for your entire stay you will be mobile and you can discover the hidden spots of Crete.
