How to get there
Driving Directions: Seward Highway 9 changes to Third Avenue in town. Turn left on Madison Street, drive two blocks and turn right on Fifth Avenue. The Seward Birdhouse is the second house on the right at 433 Fifth Avenue.
Alaska Railroad: The train arrives at 11 am, so you will have several hours before you can check in. There is a luggage storage service in town, and taxi service. A free shuttle stops at the Depot every 30 minutes and makes a loop through town.
Cruise ship: The cruise ship dock is located at the end of Port Avenue. The free shuttle stops here every 30 minutes, there is also taxi service.

Getting around
A rental car is the most convenient way to get around to all the sights. Exit Glacier is also serviced by Liquid Adventures with hourly trips. The Alaska Sealife Center is a nice walk along the waterfront path, part of the National Historic Iditarod Trail, or straight south on Fifth Avenue 3 blocks and over one. Downtown shopping and restaurants are only two blocks away.
