Carmarthen is 11 miles further along the A48 at the end of the M4 from the East, South and Midlands of England. It is also easily reached via teh A40 serving mid wales and routes from the North approach peniel via the A485 Lampeter road.

The main road A485 is 1 mile away from the cottage and has an hourly bus service to town and up to Aberystwyth most weekdays.
