How to get there
Entry must be gained through the manned security gate just off Tom Darlington (which is the Carefree name for Scottsdale Road). It is just north of the intersection of Carefree Highway and Scottsdale Roads.

Getting around
There are jeep tours in the Cave Creek area taking people to view Indian ruins and petroglyphs. The beautiful red rocks of Sedona are 2 hours north (where many Pink Jeep tours exist) and the magnificent Grand Canyon is but a 4 hour drive. The magical Hopi Reservation is within a few hours drive. Newly opened in Scottsdale in 2015 is the Scottsdale Museum of the West which is home to a variety of western art and cultural items; the architecture of the building is dramatic and fitting to the subject.
