How to get there

SAN ANDREA A CELLOLE :-
Via Cellole 20,
San Pancrazio,
50020 FIRENZE

GPS Co- Ordinates: Latitude 43° 36' 16, 83441'' N
Longitude 11° 09' 06, 17138'' E
(you are advised to turn off the GPS once on the Florence/Siena highway and to turn it back on again once you have exited at Tavarnelle, to avoid being sent over a bad rough road).

From Pisa:-
From Pisa join the dual carriageway FIRENZE-LIVORNO, heading in the direction of FIRENZE.
As you reach 'FIRENZE SCANDICCI' you must join the A1 Motorway (Autostrada del Sole ) heading south in the direction of ROMA.

After a short while exit at FIRENZE IMPRUNETA. go through the pay toll and you arrive at a roundabout, bear to the right and take the dual carriageway (highway) FIRENZE-SIENA, the first 200 yards are two way traffic. Exit the dual carriageway at the 4th exit TAVARNELLE VAL DI PESA.
On leaving the slip road turn left at the stop sign and go up the hill in the direction of TAVARNELLE VAL DI PESA (about 4 kms).
You arrive at a roundabout and take the first exit right signpost TAVARNELLE / MONTESPERTOLI.
Proceed to the next roundabout and again take the first exit right signpost NOCE/BONAZZA.

Proceed along this road until you arrive at Noce approx 3kms, do not take the road that branches off right to Bonazza. Go straight through the hamlet of Noce and keep straight on (at a bend in the road there is a large villa on your left and straight after that the tennis courts), keep going. About 3 kms from Noce there is a road junction (small cemetery on the corner), turn right here signpost VIA CELLOLE. Proceed through a small hamlet until the road becomes unmade (do not turn left up into the hamlet).
Approx. 200 yards from where the unmade road starts you will see a fork in the road, take the left hand fork which goes slightly uphill signpost VIA CELLOLE (do not take the right hand fork which goes downhill signpost VIA NUNZIATINA). This road passes through fields, over a hillock with a wonderful view and then past two houses facing each other, once you have passed the two houses the road descends to CELLOLE.

Keep going to the end of the road where there are large wrought iron gates , this is Cellole
