It is easy to walk to the town and other beaches accessible from the town front. It is also easy to walk to numerous restaurants and shops from the property. There is a good supermarket quite near Casas Del Sol. There are good walks along the promenade. In order to go to the lovely Papagayo beaches this can either be managed by car ( a hire car from the airport is inexpensive), or there is a regular boat trip to these beaches. A car is also useful to explore a little further, such as going to El Golfo for a meal or a general explore of the area, You can reach places such as the Timanfayo National park by car or there are also regular coach trips, Reception at Casas del Sol has lots of leaflets with ideas and information re day etc
