But the closest airports are Bergerac and Toulouse.
From Paris the A20 autoroute passes just the other side of Cahors, so is about 25km away.
You definitely need a car, though the local small town is about 30 minutes walk away either down a dramatic cliff path or a valley with interlocking spurs. In a car this only takes 5 minutes.
There is undercover parking for one car in an open barn and for several other cars just below the terrace on the drive.

Getting around
You really need a car at Roubignol as it is out in the country, but only 5 minutes drive to the nearest small town of Luzech which is on the Lot river. Cycling is fine, but it is a pretty hilly area!
